At the hotel restaurant La Citadelle, the pleasures of the table rhyme with the pleasures of the eyes. In the enchanting setting of our ***, 2 casseroles classified Logis hotel, you can taste inventive and tasty southwest cooking whilst enjoying exceptional views of the Gironde. At sunset, the view is simply magical.
Our cooking, both modern and rich, is a tale of the love of our land navigating between land and sea.
Do not miss out on our specialty, lamprey in red wine sauce! And to accompany our dishes, we naturally propose the best wines of the Blaye vineyard which surrounds us.
We can welcome you to our table for lunch or half board; for a business stopover; alone, with family or in groups to celebrate family events or to organize your cocktail parties and business meals thanks to the great capacity of our restaurant (up to 200).
Breakfasts, meanwhile, are a real pleasure to enjoy in our restaurant or on the terrace with panoramic views of the morning activity of the estuary. Proposed in the form of a buffet installed in a cosy room designed to provoke thoughts of the house’s kitchen, breakfast proposes a large choice of sweet and savory produce (pastries, scrambled eggs, pancakes, muffins ...).
